Our menu combines the traditional plates that our guests have come to expect with seasonal specials sure to dazzle any palate and satiate any craving. From a tasty hamburger to a perfectly prepared grilled Atlantic Salmon, all made with only the freshest ingredients, and all redefining lunch and dinner on Park Avenue. The classic cocktail list, sprinkled with some downtown flair, is custom. With outstanding wines by the glass and favorites like the well prepared martini, drinks at Park Avenue Tavern are mixed with New York City soul.
The island bar is the centerpiece of the main level with large corner windows offering amazing light and displaying the city passing by outside. Rich dark woods, stone walls, and copper trimmings combine old world décor with new age thinking. The eight booths along the main wall give a sense of privacy, while simultaneously providing a front row seat to the activity at the main bar. Our unique semi-private area is perfect place to host a cocktail party for twenty of your closest friends, where deep leather bound couches and sturdy barn wood tables add to the comfortable yet upscale surroundings.
Tucked away in the lower level our Barrel Room offers an unprecedented experience in Manhattan. Park Avenue Tavern is the first bar in the city to offer the Table Tender system. A state of the art innovation in the restaurant industry, Table Tender puts the customer behind the bar and allows you to pour your own draft right at the table. A table side screen tracks every ounce of product by a computerized meter, allowing patrons a truly unique dining and nightlife experience.The system is featured in five strategically placed round booths throughout the Barrel Room, that can be reserved individually.
